The developer duo are coming under the Dogira banner as Jupiter Lighthouse Games. Each has a significant amount of experience under their belt, with several shipped titles including:
- Nibblity (2021)
- Garden Variety Body Horror (2018)
- Protype Mansion — Used No Cover (2017)
- “How Now Sea Cow?” (2015)
- Skylanders: Swap Force (2014) and Spyro’s Adventure (2011)
- Guitar Hero 6 (2010)
- Transformers: War for Cybertron (2010)
- Marvel Ultimate Alliance (2009)
So, who exactly are the new faces around here? Let’s get into a little more detail.
Dylan Engelman
Dylan has been programming since the mid 90s and professionally entered the industry in 2007. During his early years he dabbled in VB and javascript, before finally throwing himself into C# — leading to a career in web development and building enterprise software.
Ultimately, his true love was always video games, and after meeting Andy they formed Jupiter Lighthouse Games where they developed a variety of indie titles like Garden Variety Body Horror and How Now Sea Cow?.
Seeing the growing popularity and usability of cryptocurrency, he was highly interested in the opportunities the Dogira platform offers. The secret to bringing cryptocurrency and quality games together is one he’s dedicated to uncovering.
Andrew Hilderbrand
Andrew is a game designer and artist with more than 13 years in the industry. He has shipped over 10 titles, for both AAA and indie studios — giving him a wide range of experience and a varied tool set.
Believing in making great games first and foremost, anything goes; so long as it’s in service of making fun and engaging play experiences. His current area of exploration is how cryptocurrency can elevate a game’s impact, both in how fun it is and the design opportunities it can present.
Growing Dogira Studios
Along with Lead Developer Eoghan Hayes, Dogira Studios is poised to begin delivering on its promise of quality blockchain gaming. While the games being worked on are still in early development, amazing experiences are coming!
Eoghan has more than a decade of experience as a Developer and Manager across several start-ups and multinational enterprises.
As an indie developer he released Split or Steal, a best-selling game on Steam. During his time at Zendesk, he contributed to a number of high-profile games.
In the cryptocurrency space, he was a significant contributor to Dogecoin in 2013 and 2014. Eoghan worked with the Digibyte team to implement their Digishield Gravity Well Difficulty Algorithm — paving the way for the coin to become what it is today.
With Eoghan and Jupiter Lighthouse Games united under Dogira Studios, we’re confident that the blockchain gaming revolution is closer than ever…
So please, join us in welcoming Andrew Hilderbrand and Dylan Engelman!
